I’m Laurence, a solopreneur operating at the dynamic crossroads of strategy, design, and innovation. My work navigates the delicate tension between human experience and systemic architecture—crafting future-forward models that are not just smart, but deeply perceptive and empathetic.

Holding a master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, I’ve spearheaded over a dozen technology-driven projects spanning Well-being, AI, and UX design—where I merge academic rigor with pragmatic impact. I collaborate intimately with doctors, engineers, and creatives, bridging the cutting edge of science and society to co-create solutions that truly resonate.

My academic journey began with a dual degree in Biomedical Sciences and Social Psychology from Waseda University, supplemented by minors in Business, Film, and Health, plus a Micro MBA from UC San Diego. This interdisciplinary foundation fuels my ability to connect dots across domains and deliver holistic innovation.

Today, I support entrepreneurs and mid-sized organizations in sectors including healthcare, construction, fashion, education, and AI, offering expertise in business design, brand positioning, and service innovation. Recent projects include redesigning client service flows for architectural firms, crafting brand positioning for dental clinics, and developing AI-powered retail experiences for independent fashion brands.

Previously, I honed my skills in global powerhouses: at Apple, mastering customer empathy and operational excellence; at ByteDance, driving data-informed B2B advertising strategies; at CHANEL, conducting deep media insight research; and at i.lab, partnering on strategic innovation with leading companies across mobility, real estate, and manufacturing.

Beyond client work, I lead creative tech workshops for kids—empowering the next generation with tools like Roblox, Blender, and generative AI. I’m also actively engaged in interdisciplinary innovation communities such as MACC and DICE, where I contribute to shaping the future of tech and design.
